Thursday evening I got some brackets painted in my redneck spray booth(my carport with two old rocking chairs lmao). The trans cooler brackets are installed along with the trans cooler for hopefully the final time....

Also picked up a 3rd gen flip down stay down plate holder the other day for $2. It was rough looking, so last night I hit it with 180,220,320 and 400. Got up early this morning and cleaned it real good, fired up the booth again and got it painted. I'll likely install it later this afternoon that way it has ample time to dry. I should have some parts coming in next week so I def have plenty to keep me busy!

Trying buddy! Had to tear out some bushes today with the wife so we can prep for new landscaping in the coming weeks.
After that was done I put some thread sealant on my barb fittings and installed them into the trick little ICT steam line fittings. I only installed the front for now. I also bolted on the 3rd gen plate holder.

Alright, after getting my tail kicked last night by a stupid trans dipstick I regrouped. It's hard for me to justify spending north of $50 for a damn dipstick, so I used some 'persuasion' and bent mine more towards the driver side to clear the firewall!
Once done I started the fight of bolting that heavy *ss trans back to the engine! It kept getting askew and the converter was binding so I just had to be patient! I took a break and came back at it and it's done now too! Gotta call it a night due to lack of sleep last night, and a heavy drive/shred schedule tomorrow but I'm back on track.

Earlier today my Speed Engineering headers came in. I must say, I'm pretty impressed with the quality and fit for a set of stainless headers under $300!!!!!
They will require a couple small dings, but nothing major. The fun part will be checking the spark plugs which I intend to do soon but damn I'm 'exhausted' from work.

They're the A-G ones. Yeah, I'll try to snap a few this evening, but from up top they look like they'll line up to my G force x member.
Also, I installed both side from the top which I've never been able to do with long tube headers!

I know you don't want to hear this...

But, that is abnormally tight. Is there anyway to move the engine forward at least half an inch?
