88 Olds Cutlass... What do you guys think?

I can get an 88 olds cutlass for 600$ perfect running condition. and based on the pictures pretty solid frame. has a bit of rust leaking out from under the vinyl top but the vinyl is mint. you guys think underneath the vinyl will be pure rot? I was thinking of buying and fixing her up and leaving it all factory as there was only about 27000 88's made. or even buying the 88 hurst olds kit off 88hurstolds and putting it on there. Just wondering what you guys think about the rust near the vinyl and the kit and the car overall. I'll post some pics up 🙂

Thats what my plans were. Use it as a daily driver while I fix up my other Cutty. then once that ones done fix up this one. Its a nice lil car for 600$. And he said OBO. might be able to get her for 500$ 😀. I think im gunna give it a try..

Not sure yet. I am going to ask him. So far we've been relying on e-mail. He lives 3 hours away but offered to bring it into town should I decide to buy it. So I'm just finding out everything about it via e-mail before I make my decision.

Yeah I will. I plan on getting a thorough run through of the car before I get him to drive the car in. Should he drive it in and anything is not the way he claims. I'll just go lower on my offer or tell him to go back home.
