9 inch brakes...

Got me a 9 inch housing out of an old t bird the other day and having it cut down and brackets welded on for a direct replacement of the ole 7.5 in the wagon. Anyone got any idea of what to do for brakes? Any advice is appreciated.

I'm assuming it's ford pattern. I want Chevrolet pattern.

Well then you will need different axles or you will have to re-drill yours

I know that... it's going to get moser axles. Just didn't know if there was a good disc brake solution.

Use the factory disc setups easy and cheap.

Not to mention all the parts stores carry the replacement parts.

I have Wilwood disc on my 9", you have to know what style ends you have on your axle tubes when ordering brakes.

On our prostreet Vega we used disc brake setup from a Thunderbird and redrilled the rotors. On the Nova we used the Quick Performance drum kit.
