9 inch first pattern

3:50 u.s. gear jegs case trac-loc. this is the initial gear pattern with .020 shim and .008 backlash. looks like it should go deeper. not very good lighting in the garage. what do you think?

Ring gear needs to go towards the pinion, loosen the rh lock 1/2 turn tighten the lh lock a half turn and re pattern

This is something I wish I knew how to do/how it worked.

Unfortunately, its going to end up being something I am going to have to pay someone to do.

I don't know whow you are checking the pattern, I check for the pattern I turn the pinion forward and reverse with a little resistance on the crown. I think that gives a more accurate pattern

i do the same
some of the directions i have seen say to put about 55 ft. lbs of turning resistance to get a good pattern read. i can't do that. this punkin is on my work bench. no way to get that much resistance in my garage.
