i bought my first lt1 powered roadster wagon with 150k on it and drove it to 220k with the original opt-spark. it even survived a significant water pump leak. the only maintenance i performed on it was to disassemble it and clean the electrodes and rotor tip. but be careful, the cap bolts are dainty and protrude the distributor housing causing them to corrode. upon removal, this corrosion will cause the bolts to stick and break. filing or using a dremel type tool to grind off the bolt tip will increase your odds of a successful repair.

Do you recall where you got the plug in the intake elbow for the silencer tube?
i am using a hockey puck on mine, fits perfectly, and a great way to show off your favorite hockey team, pro or local. GO WILD!
