So I recently was handed a set of A Body bushings along with the bolts. Can I be enlightened on if these will fit a G body? Any help will make my day!!

The radiator mount bushings MAY or may not be compatible, that would be a concern, but the rest of the bushings should physically fit. Can't see any reason they wouldn't. I'd use the G-body placement sheet if you can get one. I only have GM bushings, so I can't say whether they'll work or not. Never tried it personally, and I don't know if anyone has to my knowledge.

Also, depending on the year, what is the bolt size? 82-up G-body had metric threads. M10 x 1.5 x 80mm long for positions 2, 4, 6, and 7. #3 position is 55mm long, only difference. #5 just sits there.

If you need new metric bolts, 10.9 flange head, partial threads, GM part number 14085302, or the latest number 3524497 (85mm). Fastenal shows part number 11115636 for plain bolts (11115742 for yellow zinc) should work I imagine if you needed metric bolts that are 80-85mm long.

55mm bolts would be GM #11505154, or the latest number 14085301 (or equivalent). Fastenal uses 50mm length- 11115631 for plain bolts ( 11115737 for yellow zinc).

You haven't cross referenced the rubber biscuits from 64-72 to 78-88? Whaddaya want fa' nuthin'? Bow, bow, bow
I guess if you're in the old fart group you get this joke. And it was by the The Chips in the mid 50's.

But I would think the rubbers are the same and can fit, but the bolts will be different if you don't break the cage nuts replacing them.

Is 48 an old fart? I guess to the whipper snappers it is, but I got a ways to go. The Blues Brothers is one of my favorite movies, and if you want a treat, create a Pandora station called "Rubber Biscuit Radio" = good stuff.

Ohh man, I got it right away, and I just turned 38!
