A - body RED interior paint - 1978-80 Cutlass

Any of you guys with red interiors, ever use the G Body Parts.com #1593 red interior plastic paint? As much as I hate to order from them, they seem to have a matching paint for our cars. I have had good results with SEM paints in the past, but I have no idea which one is a match ( or even close... ) to our interior color. Firethorn Red , Portola Red, Napa Red ???

the interior color is carmine red. there is also a dark carmine red which is more of a burgundy. i bought some carmine red from The Parts Place. used it on my horn pad. i'll see if i can find the can and post a pic.

My 1978 El Camino SS was Carmine Red. Went to a local paint shop and had them mix me up some pints (SEM) to spray. This was a long time ago though.

I assume you were happy with that paint, or you would have said otherwise. I will check into this, since our cars are the same color. Thanks Joe.
