Does anyone have a close up picture of a heater or A/C box that has been cut for clearance of a 500 Cadillac or 455 Olds engine? I'm just trying to get an idea of location and amount of material removal. One vendor claims to have an engine mount kit that uses the stock A/C box, but my measurements make that claim seriously questionable.

Any help appreciated prior to me just jumping into it.

Hmmm. Didn’t know. I saw a pic of an Olds with a notch. He must not have known either.

This is my 455 with unmodified AC box . Stock valve covers are a must. Tall covers and you will need to cut the AC box

That should put my 500 very close with stock type valve covers..........assuming they’ll clear the new rockers. This car WILL have a/c or else.
