I have a 87 el camino with a ls3 swap. I have been through 2 r4 compressors and wanted to switch to a sanden style compressor. Has anyone done this and which compressor and lines did you use. I know there are sd508, sd5, sd7 and flx, also several different models within those.

Thank You

I like the the flx series.

a company called dirty dingo makes the sanden to serpentine adapter kit which worked out good for me. I used it on a gen 1 serpentine setup, so not sure how it works with a ls.

I'm still casually chasing down hardware to connect my 1980 Malibu A/C system to a 88-92 Camaro serpentine system. I tracked down a link to the simple R4 to Sanden kit you describe. Can you share some pictures of how this worked out on your engine?
