I have a 85 ss with a 350 engine . I’m trying to get my a/c working and I need a new compressor and other parts . When buying the new parts do I buy parts for the original car/305 engine or do I need to get parts that go with the 350? This explanation maybe off , Im not a mechanic by any means just need help on this one before I spend money .

AC parts should be the same for both engines.

The only problem you might run into looking up parts is that I don't think you could get a 350 in a 85 Monte. Might be wrong. If you order the parts for the 305 they will fit the 350.
