yeah lets see how long that price will last when the oil leak finally take its toll on the gas prices

This system WORKS and it's easy.
It doesn't matter what cam or compression ratio rou're running. Just select the induction size based on displacement ansd a very ball park approximate horse/torque range and it tunes itself to optimum. My buddy has it on his 383 SBC Monte. If he makes a change to the engine like new heads, different cam, whatever, he presses a few buttons to start the retune program and in a couple minutes it's ready to rock. And yes, my buddy did both of those changes (heads and cam) after installing the EFI and it took a few minutes. He knows a lot more about it than I do but he swears it's the only game in town worth playing.

That does read as the cats meow, but at 3,995 for an Olds 350 is it worth it!? Honestly probably not for most people. I would go with a pro done electric choke Q-jet such as sparkyscarbs and have a pro help with heads valvejob cam & tune. Add in a well done 200-4R. He can have the performance and good mileage. Dwight did 12.0s with a 455 Q-jet & overdrive & got 20 mpg hwy. He won't likely get low 12s with the 350 & pump gas but the 20 hwy should be real do able. Is there still tangible benefits from EFI.. yea but they are not as dramatic an most people give them credit for. As I said on his other thread I have an EFI car and love it (GN) but I don't see the conversion as worth the cost. I also had a 509ci Cutty with Q-jet & 200-4R that ran some 12.5s at 110 mph and got 17 hwy. The 4.8 swap makes more sense to me than an EFI conversion. But I think if I was going to do an LS series swap it would involve a turbo.

YES THE IDEA OF A TURBO HAS CROSSED MY MIND ESPEACIALY WITH A SMALL 4.8 VORTEC THAT SHOULD BE SPICY
