GM used the G body format for the last generation Buick Riviera few folks know this. Only 1,786 built for 1999 after GM tweaked all the imperfections from the previous years, 1998 parts will not fit a 1999, I know I have 4 1999 and 1 1998. They do not make them like they use to.

Eh... sort of.

This guy goes around the internet, post all kinds of overpriced sale ads and describes himself as a collector. Claims an absurdly small number of cars survive with nothing to back it up. Says cars are 'restored' with cheap re-spray sub-maaco quality in non factory paint codes. Etc etc etc.

The recent claims of no parts from other years fit is a perfect example. There were a couple tweaks year to year, and some thing that used to be options were made standard equipment, but for the most part, many of the stuff crosses over.

He doesn't even have the 1999 yearly production number right.

He tried posting here a couple moths back as well. So. For the most part, if he tries posting something about the cars as a "fact" just assume it's wrong and check in with the BCA ROA division and get the real story, if you're interested enough.

What if we mount a bar on the engine and sprocket on the accessory pulley so it has a chainsaw chain/bar coming out the grille?

Advantage of the transverse mount is that it comes out the grille instead of the fender....
