Looks minor to me but I've never done this before
Time will tell under the vinyl roof
Yeah looks cool

My Cutty has a vinyl roof that’s 1/2 off and extremely raggedy I have at least 4 patch panels to weld in. I created a thread about it in restorations I plan to post a bunch of stuff as I go on. Ask me whatever you want I’ll give you my thoughts or let know when I don’t have an idea.

Good luck bro 🤜🤛

Let’s get these ladies sitting right

I would carefully work around the windshield and leave it in there, looks really good. You will need all your energy for when you pull the vinyl top. Mine wasn't as bad as ones like Donovan's but it was bad enough. Think of The Lord of the Rings. The Dwarves too deep and greedily, they awoke shadows and flames, the Balrog Demon! My point is you are going a step too far. If you are removing glass, unless the windshield is leaking or needs replaced, why? That looks like a few minute careful sand job to me. Good luck.
