Luckily my dash looks very similar to that. I only have one minor split on the driver side speaker area that's covered by the speaker grille. The other issue is on the gauge surround, but that'll be fixed before paint. Your interior looks so nice and unmolested, it would be hard to hack it up!

I would try to talk you out of removing the HVAC case. Heat and defrost are nice to have, even if you don't need A/C in your climate.

I'm going with Vintage air. Will have all of that especially A/C

You don’t need heat to remove the undercoating. I used this harbor freight air scraper to remove undercoating from the frame on my truck. Works great and it’s only $25

Pulled windshield trim. Been slacking on build.
My plan is to remove windshield for repairs

Condition looks significantly better than many of the ones I’ve pulled off. It’s always a toss up. There’s minor surface rust in a couple places, easy peezy.
Looks minor to me but I've never done this before
Time will tell under the vinyl roof
