Doesn't Dixie carry a direct fit 2 & 3 guage ones that replaces the O.E. one?

I just emailed them about theirs.

The generic pic looks just like GBodyparts one.

Pretty sure Lotek makes them. I think they have some pics of Gbody pods on their website. Ive heard theyre not like the original pillars though. Unfinished on the side that you see from the outside.

We are using one from G-body parts, and it fits like *ss. But it holds the gauges - after that, I'm building my own next time.

I got a response from Dixie.

They took the time to get an A-pillar gauge pod off the shelf and provide the pictures I asked for.

They also told me it is made by LoTek.

Great service!!

But that LoTek is the same junk GBodyParts sells

I did get a GlowShift setup in the mail it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fits over the existing A-pillar perfectly and looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That looks pretty nice ! Im surprised none of the companies out there have made an exact replacement pillar setup yet. I guess close is all we'll ever get. LOL

at $40 for the glow shift pod i almost regret not getting that set up and not cutting up my stock gauge housing as much. i got 5 2-1/16" and 2 3 3/8" gauges into the factory Monte Cluster/Bezel.

Well after a couple hours some cursing and punching the wall it is sort of in.

The gauge pod itself was a great fit only very minor trimming.

The big pain was routing the mechanical Temp gauge sensor so that it could reach the front of the Olds engine.

I have to reposition/twist the water temp gauge a hair

The other kick in the butt was the 1/8th copper oil line is to short so I will have to try and find a longer length tomorrow.

Hopefully my local speed shop will have it.
