Happy Labor Day everyone. Hey I’m working on my 1981 cutlass supreme and for years I’ve noticed this computer on my passenger floor and I’ve never touched it. I’m trying to clean everything up and today I looked at it to see why here I should unplug it or not and it’s a ABS computer. Is it safe to u plug? I will post a picture of it below.

ABS is the broadcast code used for quick identification on the assembly line

It's the computer for the engine management (Computer Command Control) If you are not running any of the engine electronic controls, unplug it probably doesn't work anyway if you CCC is non-existent.
