Anybody using an aftermarket ignition box (example: MSD 6 series box) with the factory CCC ignition system?

Should be easy enough to do; just unplug the coil. I doubt you could use the VR signal to feed the 6A as the computer needs the feedback from the module.

I thought MSD made a adaptor harness for electronic distributors.

If you don`t see it in the instruction manual from MSD >I would give them a call,

There is but it bypasses the factory module, it hooks up to the pick up coil.

All that does is gives you another option . If the box goes out you can just go back to stock, I did that on my 1979 Z-28 Camaro. But with a computer car .I`m not sure .

If your looking for performance. Get rid of the entire CCC system!!!!
