Dorman makes lower control arms for 2 wheel drive S10's but not for G bodys has anybody used S10 arms on their cars?
I bought these for my 86' Regal but did have to grind them a little near the outer edge where the bushings are, my originals were questionable at best and I didn't want to spend the money on performance versions but still wanted new.Dorman makes lower control arms for 2 wheel drive S10's but not for G bodys has anybody used S10 arms on their cars?
The front lower arms is what I was talking about. The larger bolts would work perfectly since the mounting holes on one side of my frame are slightly out of round. If you are talking about the front lower A arm the S10 A arm does fit. The difference between the two is in the bushings. The S10 uses 1/2" bolts compared to the smaller metric bolt the G body bushings use. So if you don't want to use 1/2" bolts all you need to do is change the bushings.
Thats what I have been debating, the arms I saw where about half that price with the bushings and ball joints already installed.I bought these for my 86' Regal but did have to grind them a little near the outer edge where the bushings are, my originals were questionable at best and I didn't want to spend the money on performance versions but still wanted new.

Unfortunately Delco is now in the habbit of just buying other's aftermarket stuff and sticking their name on it so you have to be more careful. If it is the exact same picture as the Dorman part then it likely is just the Dorman part. These claim to be delco but are about the same price as the dorman pieces.
