I haven’t had much luck finding a oil pan that works With my 1978 olds cutlass supreme. It has a Chevy small block. Right now I have the stock 5 qt pan. But I’m around 500hp so people are telling me to go to at least a 6qt. I’m just don’t want to run into any clearance issues with the headers or crossmember. Normal oil pump. Thanks for your time.

The standard generic oil pan for the small block chevy is 4 quart + filter. With that said are you looking for a 5 quart+ filter or a 6 quart + filter pan?

I have the lower one. And melloelky is correct. Make sure you have the correct gasket.
