Looking for an aftermarket or "rebuilt" radio for the Cutlass that looks stock but modern internals.

Does anyone upgrade the original GM radios to a more modern type?

Modern turner/higher watts?

Was looking at this Retrosound

Anyone have one?

Those Retrosound units are trash. Very weak tuner only gets the most local stations and a very weak amplifier won't drive speakers well or sound good. I use one of these Buick units. One of the better sounding Delco radios of the era, more powerful amp than the standard GM double din with just the bass/treble control, very strong tuner pulls in stations from a good distance.
