I have a 66 Tononado,, Camaro dual and a Corvette dual.

The AC is right there which is I would assume Olds made the 307 dual air cleaner the way they did.

I have a dual snorkel off of a vette but will not clear. This is what I did but have since run the flex tube to the left fender well

I do too. The air cleaner and elbow is off of the blazer that I got the serpentine belt set up off and the top is off of an Astro van. The flex tube and outside bracket is off of Amazon. Nice fit and look after I had it all powder coated

airboatgreg, that does look factory nice. Just noticed the TBI top.

To the OP, I have that air cleaner for another project with an early SBC and a low mount alternator. I can tell you that it's really big in person and takes up a bunch of real estate. Its also pretty low profile. I really doubt it would fit an Olds with AC.

But, being low profile, you might be able to use a spacer like this and clock it to a position that may work.

There are probably better options when it comes to dual snorkle on an Olds.

DRIVEN that looks tight over the distibutor. Would it be possible for it to clear a HEI? I've been looking at one of those as an future option instead of an open unit.

I'd be really surprised if an HEI would fit with it. IIRC it's supposed to be a repro of a '70-'72 Z28 (LT1). My engine has an old Holley Street Dominator intake which is supposed to be a copy of the old LT1/Z28 intake. It's got a 1" spacer under a Holley 780 and still sits that low. Points distributor fits fine because that's what it was designed to fit. HEI might be possible if you did a little hammer surgery in the back. It wouldn't really be visible.
