Good luck with the dyno. Break in will be quick. Basically they’ll put a slight load on it and let it run above idle until it gets warm and that’s it. I love seeing people post that their engine has 500 miles on it and it’s not broken in. With todays rings and cylinder wall finishes, once it’s warm if it’s not ready for full blast it never will be.

Agree with ^^^. Break in is 110% related to the rings. They require little to no break in.

Good luck!

I used a 300 grit hone and moly rings on my LT1. It wouldn't break in even on the Dyno after 20+ pulls. 10 minutes of warmup on the track wrapping out 4th gear finally got it to seat. It picked up about 30whp when it did.

It’ll be fine. Mine was honed with a torque plate. On the dyno, My engine ran until warm, was shut off and the rockers checked. It was re-fired and run to 6500 where it made 965 hp. That was the break in. It was then run to 7500 and made 980.
