Alternator resistor

I'm trying to figure out what size resistor would I need for my cs144 alternator. I will no longer be using the charge light and rather just use switched 12 volts

Painless Wiring recommends an 82 ohm, 5 watt resistor...or you can pickup the si to cs adapter plug with the resistor already built in...that's what I ended up using when I converted to a CS130 alternator.
