Aluminum and Fiberglass Dashes

Why? The stock dash weighs next to nothing and has mounting provisions built in.

Even with an out out race car the standard dash is much more appealing. If your not going for that look so be it - most of the ones I've seen used are in the roundy round race cars. I have seen a few tastefully done.

In a past life I built this with Dad for a group drag car project I had donated a roller for. The car had a cutlass dash in it and one of the other people on the project decided "race car need race dash" and hulk smashed the nice dash I had in the car when I wasn't around. I think the aluminum replacement weighed more and was a PITA to fit right.

If you have a dash, I recommend against it.
