Thus is down by fuse panel. Where might it go or what would it be for?

Couldn't tell you. Haven't hooked up a switch for the manual yet. I'll have to rotate the column tomorrow.

I was asking cause the reverse lights are green and blue wires. If you put the car in run one of the wires will have power if they are the reverse wires. I think it's the green one that should be hot

I don't remember which one but one was dead with just key on and another was hot with key in run position.

there is one hot one and when the transmission is put in reverse the switch closes the circuit and the other wire carried the power to the back up lites.

Oh ok I'll check tomorrow btw how would I wire in a switch for this muncie

I don't know much about the Buick's specifically, but on the Malibu the reverse lights are a 2 wire connector with black and green wires that connect to the base of the column.

ok so key on this morning rotate the column and i have back up lights
