At some point I want to run 17" rims on my Monte, I really like having 17" wheels on my Regal but the Monte has to run a frontrunner because of the exhaust and there seems to very limited options for a narrow 17" rim that will have a matching 10"-11" rear rim.
I know Weld is one of the few but their pricing I feel is way too high even for the Monte at around $3300 for a set of RT-S S71 or S77 wheels thanks to a recent price increase.
I am looking for a little more affordable options.

A wheel widening Shop could make Narrow wheels out of any deep backspacing wheel for less than $200/wheel. For "less than $3000" there are probably a lot more options going this route.

I don't want to buy wheels and then spend money modifying them, I looked into this when I had my ARE 15 x 8 rims and the wheel shop said they can only bring it down to a 6 inch, I need less than 2 in of back space for the front

I have 17x4.5" wheels on my car with 27.5" Hoosier drag front runners. Wheels are Vision Sport Mag from Summit.

Have you looked at Billet Specialties, RC Comp, or Kiezer?
