Does anyone know which were the assembly plants that assembled the 1979 Malibus? I have heard there were several.

The 7th digit of the VIN gives the assembly plant.

What is this quality you're talking about? I can never find the RPO for quality in my RPO list. Was it special ordered?
I think it was backordered.
