But that fool with a Hurst are soon bonded. I imagine it's all about perspective. Someone wants the H/O, they have deep enough pockets, they apparently don't see a problem. They got theirs now. If you had one, would you sell it for 27K? You dam skippy I would. I was originally figuring on a price of about 10K for mine.

But now I think I'd be more inclined to ask for

I have a few theories on why these auction items go for more than they should.
1. Cost of time and labor to get a car in that condition, remember we do not pay for our own labor / time
2. We are willing to over look minor flaws that they are not
3. People get lost in the competition of biding to win / They do not have a set stop point in mind for an item and go past its worth do to the want to win it at that moment. I have seen this happen at auctions for stuff all the time. Person A just wants to win the item as much as person B, it is to easy to raise a card and not think.
4. It there, its what they want and the time to find it is not worth the money saved
