MONTE CARLO Axle Length

Hey there guys. I was curious if anybody knew right off hand what the actual length of the axles are in a stock 1978 Monte Carlo 7.5 rear end/ I am getting all kinds of different lengths from 31-27" from vendors like Summitt, Jegs, ebay, etc. I just want to know what length to order right the first time. Thanks guy!!! FYi it's being upgraded with an Auburn posi, 3:73 gears, all new bearings and shims, s-10 rear disc brake set up, carrier lock diff cover and tubes have been welded. I am reading and listening to all your knowledge! Thanks again my fellow Gbody rollers!!

From Summit I am getting 28.438" or 28.437" for Moser axles and that is for both 26 and 28 spline for direct fit replacements using c clips.
