Has anybody that has a GP with a console installed a B&M Quick Silver shifter? If so, I'd like to see how it looks and know if you had to modify the console to install it.

I'm in the process of adapting the B&M QuickSilver into my 83 GP. I'll be re-doing the console with a new shifter plate (CNC aluminum). The plan is to imbed LEDs into the plate and have them light up sequentially as you shift. That's the reason for the various connection points along the shifter travel path. I've also integrated a couple of relays which will activate the Neutral Safety Switch and the Back-up Lights. Hopefully you can see all of this in the attached picture.
