Hi,

Lets get starting a tread about preservation of my Monte.

Here it is!

The hood is flat black because the ugly metalflake paint peel. :puke:

I want to keep it on road as long as I can.

I have already fixed the cluster lights, tachometer and replace the temp sender.

The car is lpg equiped so i had to fix some issues before starting it on fuel.
I have a big air restriction due to lpg diffusor, i have to remove it to drive on fuel and have power!

Plans :

Fix the rust is the main priority, doors are dead, giant holes under rear seat, this gonna be the pita of that car.
I want some headers, and kick out that th350 that have been swaped in don't know when! Finding the th200-4r here in Europe will be the second problem because US car from the 80's are only hearse!

I'm mad about this car, first time I so one in a magazine I was 11yo in 1992. So when i so it for sale in my country I had to buy it!

It's a pretty rare car here in Europe, you can't imagine the face of people watching it in the street, like if it's a Lambo or somethings! And that loud sound, damn good!

Thank you for watching!!

See you...

Nice car! I really like the black rims with the white letter tires on there.

What is the lpg thing?Any picks of it?

x2

Sorry haven't seen this...

It's just a gas system, like propane.

I just remove it from the engine because the parts sending gas in carb is sh**.

This is not my part, this one look way much better.

Do you have carburated gas/propane cars in Us?
