Best 1 piece oil pan gasket???'s

I'm installing a milodon 30700 stock style oil pan on my sbc 406 and would like to know what's the best 1 piece oil pan gaskets and oil pan bolts, part numbers helpful? THANKS

buy the one from milodon that matches that pan.that way there's no question

I use studs instead of bolts,....if you ever have to drop the pan with the engine installed you'll be glad you did

I agree with consulting with Milodon for the gasket they recommend. However, I used a 1 piece gasket from Fel-Pro (the blue one) and had great luck. It hasn't even started seeping after 6 years.

i struck out using the pan studs from milodon,with my milodon pan.the nuts hit the pan in most areas aside from the corners..that's rite,the pan,gasket and studs from the same manufacture and it wouldn't work...i used them to get it all aligned and replaced them one by one with bolts..

I used Allstar studs, Summit 7 quart pan and Fel Pro 1 piece pan gasket and everything worked well together on my Regal SBC

I agree with the fel pro recommendation, but check with Milodon what year engines the pan is for. Chevy did something silly in the early 80's I think where they changed the front pan depth and it used a different thickness front seal between the pan and timing cover.
