Berrymans is good as is Gunk and the dip basket is a nice thing. Too bad a Q-jet body won't fit. The small parts fit and won't get lost. You can do as I do and use a big enough vessel to hold a dissassembled carb. Then keep the cleaner in another container like a steel bucket. I still feel they are weak but are good for a final cleaning after the #2 oil has dissolved the heavy junk. It is hard to find but Permatex Heavy Duty carb and Choke Cleaner in the gallon can is hands down the best. Stinks to holy hell but the parts come out like new. Ive used the berrymans and have a couple gallon here in the garage. Good stuff

But for the sprays I use the cheap walmart brand.....its Made in USA!!!!!

The thing I like about Mark's first suggestion is with diesel fuel you don't need to dissasemble the carburator cause the fuel will not damage any rubber or gasket material like the buckets of carb cleaner will.

For me since I only run Holley's the spray can works best so I am using pressurized cleaner to spray all of the passageways and then I blow them out with compressed air and I imagine most people don't have a Holley that would actually need to be submersed in a bucket of cleaner and even though I use non stick gaskets I still replace them with new ones each time.

It's a pretty rare original equipment Q-jet that doesn't need a week or two in cleaner. I especially love the ones that look like they have been hemorrhaging fuel since day one. And attracting dirt.

Berkible 2+2 is def the strongest spray carb cleaner. Others will do the job but not like good ole gum cutter!
