What is the Best/Cheapest way to ship a sway bar state to state?

I bought a sway bar and the the guy I bought it from got a ridiculous shipping quote from UPS.

Any ideas. I have shipped a couple but it was a while ago.

I’ve always shipped UPS or Fedex. I’ve noticed the prices have accelerated pretty much in the past six months or so. For smaller stuff the post office flat rate boxes are the way to go. I have shipped plenty of sway bars a front bar will put the package size at about 48x16x4.

I shipped a sway bar and it was like 45 buck's. Using usps...i also got a quote today to ship out a header panel and fillers in a huge box for 55 via fedex . Got a small discount since wife works for them though .

UNGN,
I know you said you were getting a 36mm hollow bar. I don’t know what you are paying, but if you bought one from me, the bar is 60.00 and shipping UPS to your zip would be 20.00. So $80.00 total shipped to your door.
Btw I have 7 or 8 36’s and about 10 34’s...

I dunno what your quote was, but for the sake of shared info: I sold a pair of Flowtech SBO headers to a member in Austin, TX. USPS charged me 63 dollars to ship.
