best year to get?

well since i wan to get 350 olds what would be the best year to find? head gasket went on the 307 so just wanna take it out

It depends what you want. The older they are, the more power they will have. Anything with 5, 6, or 7 heads will be pretty close performance wise. If you just want more power than a 307, but don't need a race car, any 350 will be good.
