Did GM ever offer a black interior on a 1982-87 Cutlass? I have seen one on a 1978-81 car, but never the later body style. I would like to do a black leather interior one day and would prefer not to dye or paint any pieces.

i have seen it 2 times, once in a t-top car, im not sure if its factory, but it sure looks like it

I'm certain there wasn't a black option from 84-88. My Dad and I would constantly shop for a Cutlass during those years. (Needless to say I get it honest)

The colors I remember for those years were Saddle Tan, Dark Teal Blue, Oxblood, and Medium Gray.

I currently have a really nice dark blue interior for mine, but the blue is a green blue, while I am painting the car a dark purple blue. I think the black would compliment the blue as it is the interior color GM used when that color was originally used on Vette's and F bodies in the late 90's/early 2k's. I sort of have it planned, but I guess I will start buying up good black plastics from earlier cars when I find them, and may have to dye a set of window plastics to match. The upper doors and trim cards in the 1/4's will be made from Brougham pieces but covered in vinyl or leather to match the planned black leather Recaro buckets.

I too want a all black interior, but come to think of it Im not so sure its a good idea, being I live IN florida, I am planning to NOT put AC back in it and it WILL take some time before I get tint. lol

Well, I live in Florida too, the car will be a blue so dark it looks black, and will have window tint. Oh, and I WILL have A/C on mine. I am not enough of a masochist not to...
