All of my plans involved a black GNX looking car until I saw a white Regal with GNX stuff, black trim and black wheels with machined lip. Marrrrone......

Anywho... I plan on using an Explorer 8.8 with the Southside kit, along with notching out the frame with their kit as well.

To start, I just want a 10" wheel with a 315 Toyo TQ tire until I decide if the car is long term, then pony up for some higher end and wider wheels.

What do you guys suggest for backspacing/offset for the rear on a 10" wheel? Any actual wheel suggestions?

I am looking at budget wheels. If they are 4.75 pattern, I would redrill rear axle/rotor. If they are 4.5, I would redrill the blazer hubs/rotors I plan on using. I read alot about the blazer brake upgrade and I am a fan especially given the relatively low cost.

18x9.5 with 5.25" backspacing Ridler 650. You can get em in chrome, black, or gray. I think they were around $170 a piece.

Thems some good looking wheels and tires! They fit the Aero perfect IMO. I really like the tires, they look familiar lol.... View attachment 116625
They are good looking tires that's for sure. Still debating on a white letter kit since they make one for them.

I think thats the look they went for, and for $650, not bad. Read somewhere that 4.5 is the BS I want in front, given that these are basically 6...is it that simple that I could run a 4.75 to 4.5 wheel adapter 1.5 inch thick?? Saves me the hassle of drilling anything. i don't care about bearing stress, blazer bearings are cheap and I will barely drive it, and sell it soon after I build it no matter how much I love it and say I will keep forever
