Hello Everyone,

I have finally located a pair of 2002 Blazer spindles, for my 87 442. I have read on the forums, that you can use the existing Brake hose to the caliper as per https://gbodyforum.com/threads/98-05-blazer-brake-upgrade-done.35747/ ( Great write up)

I know that if i go with the Blazer hose, i need a fitting to convert from 7/16"-24 to 3/8"-24 (Fitting part number Edelmann 258340 or equivalent)

But after researching i found this:

Part number: Dorman H36847

Location: Cutlass Front

Overall Length: 11.88"

Fitting Connection
: 3/8"-24 to Banjo 10mm

Part number: Dorman H381342

Location: Blazer Front

Overall Length: 11.88"

Fitting Connection: 7/16"-24 to Banjo 10mm

Part number: Dorman H381064

Location: Blazer Rear

Overall Length: 12.25"

Fitting Connection: 3/8"-24 to Banjo 10mm

Since i need new hoses, could i just order the rear Blazer hose (P/n H381064) ? It is the same fitting as the stock G body, and you get an additional 0.37 inch.

Could this work?

Thanks in advanced.

if you do try the rear hose for the front upgrade, be sure to let us know... the original does fit, but I don't really care for the angle that it makes the hose bend at...

the only thing that I can think of that may not cause it to fit is the head where the banjo bolt goes through... it may not match the cut on the caliper, and the bolt may not go through.
