    Hey everyone ,
Two more questions, do the Blazer and the S10 use the same spindles, and when you upgrade to the blazer spindle does it push your wheels out or does the track stay the same.
    Thank you in advance .

The Blazer and S10 do not share the same spindles. However, the S10 Xtreme allegedly uses the dual piston calipers like the Blazer.

Blazer and S10 pickups generally do not use the same spindles. The 4X4 pickups can have dual piston calipers, but the 4X4 spindles won't work. I would have thought the S10 Xtreme 2WD pickup would have dual piston calipers, but it does not appear that it does, which is weird. So no, Don't look to the Pickups for the Right spindles, only 2WD Blazer's/Jimmy's.

As for the spacing, My cars have stock Spindles 12" brake conversions and they basically use the same thickness brackets as the Blazer swaps and so I think the increase in track would be similar and the increase in track on stock spindle conversions is about 5/16" - 3/8" per side.

I'm sure someone who has done the Blazer spindle conversion can say what they saw. I don't think it will be narrower than stock.

Then S10 Xtreme Pickups do have Dual Piston Calipers. Thanks!

Im curious on this too, especially since i just pulled the parts from a yard last week for the blazer upgrade. I have new wheels in the box and it would suck if i had to return the fronts to avoid issues.
Btw, my new front wheels are 17x7 with 4"BS if it helps.

Not all extremes are zq8s. Way you can tell if zq8 at a glance is if it has rear disc brakes. Its actually been several years since I've seen a legit zq8 s10 tho I've seen quite a few with the wheels lol

I've heard that as well. I pulled my brakes from a blazer extreme which had rear discs....considered going back to get them for a rear swap, but my rear brakes are new and good enough for my build.

I guess I should have measured. The swap is done on my car and if there is a difference it's not evident to the naked eye.
