Sup guys, after leaving this thing to sit for about 2 weeks i started it up and it started smoking a good amount out of the exhaust, so i thought it would go away after the engine was warm so i let it run for like 10-15 minutes. the smoking never went away so i shut it off and started working on the brakes, after working on them i started it up and no smoke was coming out whats so ever. what would cause this? plus the smoke was pretty heavy the first time i started it.

if your thinking it was coolant burning you'd notice it by the sweet smell it has. I think it was just condensation burning off, it vaporizes pretty quick whereas burning coolant stays as white smoke alot longer..

yea i didnt smell any coolant, is it normal if you are running your car for about 10 minutes for the fluid to be steaming?

with the way the weather has been it's not uncommon for alot of condensation to end up in your exhaust. I wouldn't worry about it

My old regal used to put out a huge cloud of white smoke when I haven't started it in a while or it's cold outside. As long as it goes away your fine. I think it's just condensation. Maybe you have a bad catalytic converter that is holding more moisture then typical and takes a while to burn it off. I'm not sure if that's the cause but that was my theory as to why it happened.

i bet its my cat, at one point a squirrel or mouse lived in my exhaust, sometimes i still get fur that shoots out.

Did you at least check the coolant level? It may have stopped because you ran out of coolant.
