Is there a more powerful blower fan that fits into the GBody's??

Is there a kit or something out there to make them more like a modern cars HIGH setting.

As we all know even on HIGH the older fans even when new can not compare to more modern setups.

I've been pondering this also. For starters, you could run the high speed relay feed to the alternator charge stud. However, this is hindered by a motor with old, sticky guts. I WD40ed mine while it was out, and it helped a bit, but I can't help but think a new motor would be freer/faster.

Same here. I reinstalled my ac earlier in the week, and it blows pretty well but I was thinking just the same thing. My buddy said he felt like it should be blowing a tad bit harder to him. As it stands in the St. Louis the summer is harsh and harsher on a g body driver with no ac!!!

The one question that I'm searching for an answer to is. The center two vents on my monte are blowing pretty strong but the two outside aren't giving me the best output. Is there anything I should look for in particular?

That's always been a concern of mine, whether in fact there is a later type, stronger blower motor for our cars that can be retrofitted...preferably a direct bolt on. I agree that these blower motors don't blow adequately enough.

Me, too. On order from rockauto. I'm also going to run the ground directly to the fender as I can't remember where the harness ground went..

Other than the depth of the squirrel cage, it basically looks like the same blower motor as a G-body. The mounting base looks identical. I have good feeling about it.
I'm anxious to hear what you guys have to say about it.

Steve, thank you for posting the information. Anyway we can upgrade our rides, the better.
