Blower motor not working

Hi guys, I’m working on my 79 Calais and I’m trying to get the heat going I’m not running any ac just heat. I’ve replaced the blower motor resistor and cleaned up my climate control switches with some scotch brite and dielectric grease but the heater blower motor is still not kicking on. I checked my fuse for the ac and it appears to be in good shape I had to splice in new connections at the blower motor because the previous person cut the line. Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on where to check next thank you

First test I would do is see if the motor is grounded, remove the connector from the ground terminal on the blower motor (black wire) and jump it to ground and see if it works.

It randomly kicked on I think it’s the switches
