Blower on a ls street car?

Has anyone seen or done a roots style (IE: Magnuson, Eaton or KB) or centrifugal blower(IE: Vortech, Paxton, or Procharger)? I have buddies that are pushing my to boost my car when I do it and I like to be different.

Not exactly what I was meaning. I mean specifically on a g body and not a big blower like that.
