Finally got all the body bushings installed in my 1978 Salon. How tight are the bolts supposed to be? Compressing the bushing like shock absorbers, until the washers stop on the metal sleeve,......?

I recall the 1984 and 85 CSM with a picture of the frame mount locations and the only bolt torque spec they give is 52 lbs-ft.

Just don't let them back out. :)

I was looking in my Cutlass assembly manual ('79) & it list mounts #'s 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 at 30-42 Nm (22.13-30.98 ft lbs) but my '81 Chevy CSM list 70 Nm/52 ft lbs.
