Last year I wanted a Grand National. Anything within my budget was junk or needing a full restoration which would add up to what top notch ones were selling for.
I was willing to travel to another Province or even import from the U.S. but I found this crashed GN 15 min from my work. I looked at it and declined due to front end damage.

At this point I gave up but then one guy called me about one I inquired about over 2 months prior. It was not rusty, crashed or missing anything but it was completely worn. A full restoration required. I placed a deposit and went home. Thought about the entire restoration in front of me and reconsidered the crashed GN.

The crashed GN was mint from the front wheels back. So I looked at it again and ended up making a deal. Which included a T Type parts car which was rusted and missing many parts but the front body was there and most important, the frame.

So I was fully prepared to swap frames. I removed the frame from the parts car and was scheduling to use my friend's hoist for the job.

Before that day, I was scrolling through my phone and came across something I did NOT need. A frame.
This was used by a company called ATR. Applied Technology and Racing. They had their racing rear suspension arms and driveshaft loop on a frame but nobody could see it. So 30 years ago, they removed the body and dragged this frame to car shows across the country to showcase their products.

I really didn't need this but new there would NEVER be another opportunity to purchase a frame in this condition ever again so a deal was made.

Before we installed the frame. We painted it last year. Now I am installing a pair of UMI control arms and decided to paint the area we could not get to with the stamped steel control arms on.
So off came the arms, and more painting commenced.

If you want unload any of that, then don't be scared to shoot me, or anyone else a PM. I'm only 2.5 hrs from the border and could easily grab what ever you're willing to part with.

How you found stuff of this caliber in Canada is beyond me, but I'm interested in whatever you're not.

Enough of that - let's see more pics as the progress progresses.
