1985 regal. Worse than pics but savable. Paid $900 usd equivalent. Passenger floor pan, rockers, arch spots but frame is solid for some reason and I thought the interior was cool being buckets and center console.

Has a 305 (I think cdn cars had either 305 and 307)

The other reasons I bought it is front nose is mint, taillights are mint, and those seem to expensive from what I can see for the nicer (to me) newer style stuff

Was going to do ls, but instead going to do 454 mild build.

Going to learn more about s10/blazer brake upgrades, going to build the car on the cheap seeing is how it’s a bit of a pig anyway

So, thoughts?

Help me understand the interior.... I have looked at a million of these, this is the first one I have seen with buckets and center console. Is this from a different car?

Welcome ,

re the buckets & console , back in the day the option list was long . You could order so many options la carte ..........like power windows ,but not power locks .Unlike today where options are package deals . My Regal started life with a Buick V-6 ,Buckets , Console .Non AC and no power locks / windows But power antenna .

And the option everyone wants today ....14 " locking wire hubcaps !!!!

Check the SPID label on the under side of the trunk lid to see how it was option from the factory , unless the lid been replaced at some point or the label has been painted over...........I think the VIN appears at the left side on the top of this label it should match your cars VIN. Looking at your pictures ,I wonder if it is t-type with a Olds 307.Lets see a under hood picture !

Where in the great white North are you located ?

Thanks for all the info guys! I am in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Basically a 3 hour drive to Fargo, or 7 hours to Minneapolis for reference.

Which me luck, my buddy who is a bodyman is coming by before we head to a car in a half hour, he is going to see the car for the first time and give me the yay or nay on the build. Rockers, patches, floor stuff is dirt cheap from what I have seen, so hopefully I can bribe him with PBR....Weirdly, I have never met a bodyman that doesnt like PBR, terrible beer!

In Canada 305's were an option as well as the 307. This has a 305 with a factory quadrajet. Kinda cool...

It’s a go! He’s gonna build rockers with his brake he has in his shop, I’m gonna start grinding down to see how bad the quarters are, do you guys recommend the quarter patch panels from goodmark? I’m gonna start stripping the engine, trans, suspension right away. I’m f’n excited!
