Unfortunately neither of the two tracks that are somewhat near me have a classifieds section on their sites... I'm stuck looking at racing junk, and the off chance that people list cars on craigslist.
There's not that many cars like they run in the modifieds around here online for sale... I think the general term they call them "northeast" modifieds. I don't think the local "northeast" format is popular throughout the rest of the country (I could be wrong). The mods around here run a rear suspension that's similar to a dirt late model, but with a front suspension more like a sprint car with a solid front axle with torsion bars or coil overs, as opposed to the metric and camaro front clip IMCA dirt modifieds that seem to be the most popular throughout the country as there are a bazillion of them for sale all over the country online.
I'd like to get into one of those... But a street stock seems like it might be easier to get into, since it seems to be considered more of the beginner class... I like the idea of the crate mods though. The price of those 604/602 crate engines is practically the same or less as you could spend to build an engine with the same power.
