I went with Brembos. I got a killer deal on the calipers off Facebook. The brackets are cheap. Only thing I plan to do later is get the wilwood hubs and drill out the corvette rotors. Also to have the ford Pattern.

Sorry no ideas once you got to 5x4.5. I'm using the ZO6 6 piston units with 14" rotors, just need to finish the install.

What are you running currently Jon? Asking because if the front brakes are already upgraded or upgradeable (Blazer spindles), then re-drilling the rear axles is a $90-100 expense from Quicks or Strange. Or possibly getting a set of new axles for $300-350.

Currently has new stock 79+ rotors with 3" ARP studs and new larger stock calipers off something other than a g-body IIRC, bought these years ago. I do want something a little more heavy duty over the Blazer spindles so those were out of the running, big plus on the Wilwood is just replacing the rotor by itself when the time comes. We have a similar setup on the 69 Camaro I'm working on and I like the modular approach to their build with all parts and pieces at any Summit or Jegs.

I already owned two wheels I am using in 5 X 4.5 on the back and picked up another identical to those on sale so a redrill is out of the question. Only one more to purchase at full price.

I was planning on using either of these kits originally before deciding on the front pattern change and their hubs are 4.5/4.75 drilled anyway so I'm not spending money that wasn't earmarked for brakes.

I believe I will make the first Wilwood kit my Christmas present and carry on with my plans.
