Brake upgrade Blazer spindle question

Hello Everyone,

Im currently sourcing parts for a brake upgrade for my 87 442. Ive called a few scrap yards, and they ask if i need a:

1) High wide Increased Capacity ZR2 suspension
2) Low rider z85 or z87

Ive asked the whats the difference and they dont seem to know. Ive read through the threads, and i dont know which one i need.

Ive asked for a 02 blazer/jimmy 2wd front spindles. But i get asked about the suspension

never heard of this before. Should be any 98-02 2wd front spindle. The related suspension would likely be springs anyways

i dont think there is a 2wd zr2 or atleast I haven't ever seen one, I looked on car-part.com looked up 2001 2wd blazer found a yard near me and picked them up

I just checked on there it just asks 2wd or 4wd left or right

killing time and did a google search on the suspension codes FWIW. Either way the 2wd all use the same spindle and hub assembly. The Z87 / ZQ8 use a lower spring to drop the height.

Z83: Smooth Ride Suspension Pkg. (Models w/108.3" WB)
Incls: HD Shocks.Z85: HD Suspension Pkg. (4WD Models w/108.3" W.B .)
Incls: HD Rear Springs & HD F&R Shocks, P235/70R15 BSW Tires.

ZM6: Off-Road Suspension Pkg. (4WD Models w/108.3" WB)
(NA 2WD Models or 4WD Models w/117.9" WB) Incls: Special Bilstein Gas Shocks, Larger Torsion Bar, Jounce Bumpers, Stabilizer Bar, HD Springs & (5) P235/75R15 On-Off Road OWL Tires.

ZR2: Highrider Suspension Pkg. (4WD Wideside w/108.3" WB & SLS Sport Pkg.) (NA 2WD Models or 4WD Models w/117.9" WB & SLS Sport Pkg., Sportside or w/SL Pkg.)

The Blazer Xtreme features the Z87 sport suspension.
The S10 Xtreme features the ZQ8 sport suspension.
