Today on The Old Guys Classic Car Misinformation Roadshow.

My brain hurts. The video would have been better with just the sounds of the car... right up until the end scene when you can hear it knocking under load (cheap gas and GNX chip no bueno).

I would put that in my garage. I don't care if the guy knows anything about it or not. It's still a great throwback to the 80s.

Anyone notice the sagging headliner, sagging sunvisors, loose chrome accent strip on the dash?? Along with the non-functional A/C, and the ASC installed "Hurst shifter" ??

There is no doubt this is a great car, but if an investment group out of Canada couldn't get the deal done, and the President of GM who knew the car was for sale didn't jump on it... Makes you wonder what is the asking price? If I was the owner of Boulevard Buick/GMC, I'd just keep it on the showroom floor next to my office.

It's a nice car but I call BS on the "hurst shifter" story. Although there are some miscellaneous issues with the head liner etc. etc. as noted it is still a nice low mileage example. It hasn't been outdoors much. The headlight bezels aren't warped like 90% of other GN's out there.

Didn’t know the syclone had the same motor lol and this is coming from Jay and he owns a syclone you’d think he know they were two very different animals. Seeing as how Syclone/Typhoon were 4.3 turbo v6

Every original G-body headliner will need replacing on a car that old. As soon as you touch it...crunch crunch. That foam crumbles.

It's not a huge deal to change that out. But it points out that regardless of how well you keep your car, you'll need to restore it at some point to make it look new again. I'd worry about belts and hoses and coolant, etc. if that hasn't been changed. I assume so, but you never know. If they didn't recharge the A/C and flush the brake system just to be on the safe side, then, it's possible they hadn't done anything. And that would be bad. Those tires? Can't be trusted at higher speeds. Sorry. If they never moved the car, the flat spots may not fare well for those tires. I dunno, on one hand you don't want to drive it to death, but you do need to exercise them every now and then.

I’ve shared these before. I could almost throw a rock from my house to this.
